Nick is Sports Starz Co-owner and Lead Coach , he’s organised , professional and such a positive human being on and off the pitch. Nick was an integral part and the driving force behind the success of former company The Football Playground.

Nick’s coaching history is in Grassroots Football and has nurtured a team from u7’s all the way through to youth football. Nick is an FA and Futsal Level 2 qualified coach with tonnes of experience working in schools and mastering his group and 1to1 delivery methods. Nick’s adaptability and positive attitude is infectious and he is an extremely popular figurehead for the children in the programme.

As a co-owner and lead coach at Sports Starz, I am passionately driven to propel this company towards unparalleled success. My journey in sports coaching began over a decade ago, and since then, I have honed my skills to become a FA qualified coach in both outfield and goalkeeping techniques. 

My coaching experience spans various local grassroots clubs, where I have dedicated myself to nurturing young talent and instilling in them a love for the game. One of my proudest moments was helping guide a team to victory in the highly competitive Midland Junior Premier League.  

At Sports Starz, I hope to bring my experience and passion to every training session, match, and strategic decision. My goal is not only to develop players but also to cultivate a culture of teamwork, discipline, and sportsmanship. Through innovative training methodologies and a focus on player development, I strive to shape the next generation of football starz.

Paul is a dedicated co-owner and lead coach at Sports Stars, in addition to his role as a primary school teacher at a local school. His passion for sports coaching began nearly a decade ago, with him consistently running the school football teams (boys, girls, and mixed) at every school where he has taught.

Paul's commitment to sports led him to become an FA qualified coach, a credential he has leveraged to refine his skills in delivering not just football sessions, but also comprehensive PE lessons as a class teacher. His expertise spans the entire PE curriculum, and he has taken the lead in PE at every school he has been part of, ensuring the maintenance of high standards from Early Years through to Year 6.

Known for his high energy and enthusiastic coaching style, Paul is dedicated to helping children develop their skills while ensuring they enjoy themselves. His approach is always reflective and proactive, constantly seeking ways to enhance his coaching techniques to provide better training sessions and matchday experiences for his players.

George is an enthusiastic and dedicated lead coach at Sports Starz, where he brings his lifelong passion for sports to life every day. With a particular love for football that began in his youth, George has competed at high levels, representing Warwickshire County and playing for Racing Club Warwick FC. These experiences have equipped him with extensive knowledge and skills that he eagerly shares with the young athletes he mentors.

Currently training to become a secondary school PE teacher, George is committed to fostering a love for physical education and sports among students of all ages. His previous experience as a primary school PE teacher has showcased his ability to educate and motivate younger students, and he is excited to expand his impact at the secondary level. 

As he embarks on this next phase of his career, George looks forward to refining his teaching techniques and continuing to inspire young people through his dedication to sports and education. He is a valuable asset to both Sports Starz and the broader educational community.

Sarah is a parent of five, and she brings a wealth of experience in special needs education and inclusive sports. Her personal journey includes raising children with ADHD, autism, and hearing loss. Professionally, she has worked in both special needs and mainstream schools, and currently supports young adults with Down syndrome.

Her passion lies in making sports accessible to everyone, regardless of ability and believes in the power of fun and enjoyment in physical activities.

With a background in coaching and playing football, she is excited to bring this enthusiasm to our sessions.

Logan is a talented young lad who has been coaching since the summer of 2023, and is part of the Sports Starz Family being the son of Wayne, At just 16, Logan has a passion for football, especially goalkeeping and has been honing his skills since he was 4 years old

Logan has a calm and composed coaching presence and is well liked amongst the budding superstars that join our camps. He brings positive energy and a winning mindset to every session.

Logan has continued his journey in sport after his GCSE’s by taking a Football Scholarship at Rugby Borough FC and will continue to expand his knowledge of the game.

Ethan is a big part of Sports Starz family as he is the son of Nick and his passion for football is just as strong as his dad's.

Ethan is a talented footballer who has worked alongside Nick since 2023 honing his coaching skills.

Ethan has played football since he was two years old, by doing 'tots sessions' and has loved it ever since. Ethan shows his love for the sport at our camps, parties and centres.

Ethan hopes to continue his drive in football since he left school by completing a Football Scholarship Programme locally, then his plans are to work in America, coaching/playing football.​​​​​

Evelyn adores her coaching role and is enthusiastic about sharing her passion for sports with others. Having initially undertaken work experience with Nick in 2023, Evelyn was delighted to join the team.

Evelyn is a skillful footballer, currently playing for Coventry City and also signing for the first team this season. She hopes to pursue a sports-related career in the future.

Evelyn is super excited about being part of the Sports Starz team and hopes to be an inspiration towards the children - encouraging both equality in sports and a healthy lifestyle.

Mason has been coaching since 2023. He is a keen young footballer who has joined us to gain more experience in the football coaching environment.
Mason has been playing grassroots football since the age of 5, he was also scouted by Coventry City Football club at the age of 10.
His enthusiasm for football shines on and off the pitch. 
Mason is continuing his love of the sport since his GCSE’s finished by completing a football education programme and will continue to gain experience and knowledge of the game.

Sam is a keen footballer that wanted to develop his coaching skills.
he fell in love with coaching when he completed his work experience with Nick.
Sam has been coached by Nick since the age of 9 years old in grassroots football and continues to train and play for his local football team.
His passion for the game on the pitch is second to none, but also when he is working for Sports Starz he engages with all the children effortlessly.
